The Resident Wristband and Transmitter is designed to work with Smart Caregiver's Anti-Wandering Systems to help prevent wandering and elopement. When worn by a resident, the wristband communicates with the door bar system to alert caregivers whenever the resident approaches a door. This system is particularly beneficial for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety while maintaining their dignity and freedom.

The wristband automatically sends a signal when the wearer is within 2-14 feet of the monitored doorway, triggering an audible alarm on the door bar. This allows caregivers to respond promptly and prevent potential wandering events.
