Overview

The Rhythm P2 is one of the lightest portable oxygen concentrators available — just 4.37 pounds and compact enough to slip into a bag or carry on your shoulder. It delivers pulse-dose oxygen across five settings, up to 1,000 mL per minute at 87–96% concentration, with a clear 2.8" LCD and simple, easy-to-read controls. A quick 2-minute warm-up, quiet high-efficiency operation, and excellent heat dissipation make it a dependable all-in-one choice for home and on-the-go use, around the clock.

Built for an active lifestyle, it runs on AC or DC power and includes an AC/DC car charger, so you can top up at home or on the road. The battery lasts up to 5 hours on setting 1 and recharges in about 4 hours, while a high-adsorption sieve bed keeps oxygen output reliable with less maintenance. It conforms to all applicable FAA criteria for use on board aircraft, and it ships with a nasal cannula, a carry bag with shoulder strap, and both AC and DC power supplies.

The headline here is weight: at 4.37 pounds the P2 is among the very lightest portable concentrators, lighter than several well-known name-brand units, which makes it an easy pick when maximum mobility matters most. It's a pulse-dose device — it delivers a measured bolus of oxygen on each breath, which is what keeps it so light — so if a steady continuous flow is required (for example, some overnight setups), a continuous-capable unit is the better fit. Battery runtime drops as the setting rises, from about 5 hours on setting 1 down to under 2 hours on setting 5, so a spare battery or an external charger is worth adding for longer days. It runs and recharges in the car and is FAA-ready for flights.

Battery runtime varies with your setting, breathing rate, environment, and battery condition. For longer days, many users add a spare battery or an external battery charger.

Does it have a continuous flow setting?

No — the P2 is a pulse-dose concentrator. It delivers a measured dose of oxygen with each breath across five settings, which is what keeps it so lightweight. If you need a steady continuous flow, a continuous-capable concentrator is the better match.

How long does the battery last, and can I extend it?

Up to about 5 hours on setting 1, with shorter runtimes at higher settings (see the battery chart above). Many people add a spare battery or an external charger so they can swap in a charged pack and stay out longer.

Can I fly with it or use it in the car?

It conforms to all applicable FAA criteria for use on board aircraft — always confirm your airline's policy in advance. In the car it runs and recharges on DC power using the included AC/DC car charger.
