For patients at high fall risk, a bed that can drop down close to the floor makes a real difference β both in preventing injury and in giving caregivers a safer working height. The Dynarex Bari+Max DB300 is a one-piece welded steel bed frame with true vertical lift, built specifically for long-term care settings and bariatric patients up to 750 lb.
A 10-function hand control pendant puts positioning in the patient or caregiver's hands, including auto-contour (which raises the head and feet together), Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positions, and a comfort chair setting. Tool-free width and length extensions let the bed grow from 36" to 48" wide and 80" to 88" long as needs change, without special tools or hardware. A Central Locking System and wall bumper guards round out the safety and durability features. Choose your board finish and rail type to build the exact configuration your facility needs.

The rail options here serve different purposes, not just different looks. An Assist Bar or Pivot Bar gives a patient something to hold onto during transfers without fully enclosing the bed, useful for anyone who's still fairly mobile. A full Swing Rail offers more complete perimeter coverage, which better suits patients at higher fall risk who need continuous side support. Note that Staff Control (nurse control panel) is sold separately and is no longer included with the bed by default.

Assist Bar and Pivot Assist Bar offer a hold point without fully enclosing the bed, suited to more mobile patients. Composite and Metal Swing Rails provide fuller perimeter coverage, better suited to patients at higher fall risk.
Is the nurse control panel included?
No, Staff Control (nurse control panel) is no longer included by default and must be purchased separately.
How does the width and length extension work?
Both extensions are tool-free and integrated into the frame, allowing the bed to grow from 36" to 48" wide and 80" to 88" long as patient needs change, without special hardware.
