Electric Stand Tall Walkers That Adjust to the User, From Standard to Bariatric
Bure stand tall walkers are walking frames with padded forearm supports, so the user walks upright with their forearms resting on the armrests and their hands on the handles. The height is set electrically: preset it, then fine-tune it steplessly once the user is standing, so the armrests sit where the user needs them. The handles adjust steplessly in every direction, anatomical cushions support the shoulders, arms and neck, and the open frame leaves room to move. The electrical parts are rated IP65 for wet environments.
Four models are available on this page. The Bure Standard Electric is the core walker with a fixed frame. The Bure Double 2.0 adds electric frame widening, so it opens to reach around a chair, wheelchair or bed and narrows for doorways. The Bure XL is a wider, heavy-duty frame rated to 529 lbs (240 kg) and is made to order. The Bure Rise & Go DB adds a stand-up harness and swing-aside shin supports, turning the walker into a powered stand-up aid, transfer aid and walking frame in one. All four roll on 125 mm casters, and accessories such as transfer plates, side supports and gait training kits are available below.

Equipment Specialist Insight: Start with how much help the user needs to stand. Users who can stand with the walker’s support suit the Standard Electric, the Double 2.0 or the XL. Users who need help rising from a seat suit the Rise & Go DB, which adds a stand-up harness sized to the user. Choose the Double 2.0 or Rise & Go DB when the frame needs to open around a wheelchair or bed and close for doorways, and the XL for users over 330 lbs or who need more leg room. Set the height so the user’s forearms rest comfortably on the armrests with their shoulders relaxed. All models are for indoor use. A therapist should assess the user and set up the first sessions, and the walker should be inspected once a year.
