Real Support, Right Where You Need It
A secure handhold in the tub or shower can make all the difference between confidence and caution. The Carex Ultra Grip Xtra Suction Grab Bar mounts without tools or drilling, using dual-locking suction cups that fasten tightly to flat, non-porous surfaces for a genuinely secure hold.
An indicator button shows at a glance whether the suction is securely fastened, taking the guesswork out of whether the bar is actually safe to use. The wide, comfortable handle offers a solid grip and assists with balance, whether getting in and out of the tub or simply steadying yourself while standing. At 16", it's a practical length for a bathtub, shower stall, or any smooth wall surface where extra support is needed.
Key Features
- Dual-locking suction cups fit tightly to flat, non-porous surfaces
- Indicator button shows at a glance whether suction is securely fastened
- Wide handle offers a comfortable hold and assists with balance
- No tools or drilling required for installation
- 16" length suits tubs, showers, and other smooth wall surfaces
The built-in indicator button is the standout safety feature here — rather than trusting a suction cup by feel alone, a quick visual check confirms whether the bar is actually fastened securely before relying on it for support. As with any suction-mounted product, a clean, smooth, non-porous surface (like acrylic, fiberglass, or finished tile) is essential for a reliable hold; textured or uneven surfaces won't provide the same secure grip, so it's worth checking the mounting surface before installation.

Should I check the suction periodically?
