A Curved Baseplate Shaped for Outward-Curving Bodies
The Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex Flip barrier is the baseplate half of a two-piece ostomy system, designed for outward-curving body profiles, such as a bulge or rounded area around the stoma. Where a standard convex baseplate curves in toward the skin, the Flip is curved to follow an outward shape, and its star-shaped petals hug the body without creasing or folding. The elastic adhesive is designed to stretch and move for a secure fit, and a stability ring supports the center zone and shows where to press during application.
The cut-to-fit opening can be trimmed for stomas from 3/8" to 2-9/16" (10–65 mm). The baseplate uses the 70 mm (yellow) Click coupling and pairs with SenSura Mio Click pouches in the same 70 mm size, sold separately. Because it is a two-piece system, you can change the pouch without removing the baseplate. Belt tabs allow an ostomy belt to be added, and each box holds 5 baseplates.
