A Deep Convex Click Baseplate for Flush or Retracted Stomas
The Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex Click deep convex barrier is the baseplate half of a two-piece ostomy system. Its deep convexity is designed for stomas that are flush with the skin, retracted, or located in a skin fold, where a flat or lightly convex baseplate may not sit closely enough around the stoma. The elastic adhesive is designed to stretch and move with the body for a secure fit, and a removal tab makes the baseplate easier to take off.
The cut-to-fit opening can be trimmed for stomas from 5/8" to 1-9/16" (15–40 mm). The baseplate uses the 60 mm (blue) Click coupling, where an audible click confirms the pouch is locked in place, and pairs with SenSura Mio Click pouches in the same 60 mm size, sold separately. Because it is a two-piece system, you can change the pouch without removing the baseplate. Belt tabs allow an ostomy belt to be added, and each box holds 5 baseplates.
