Dual-Therapy Pressure Relief, Simplified

Treating pressure wounds effectively often means combining more than one approach, and the DynaRest Airfloat 100 does that in a single unit. It pairs low air loss with alternating pressure therapy, using 20 individual 8" air cells and an adjustable air flow dial with weight indicators so caregivers can dial in the right level of support for each patient.

A static mode inflates all cells evenly, letting caregivers pause the alternating cycle during repositioning or transfers to reduce injury risk, while a built-in pillow function adds extra head and neck stability. A CPR valve allows for rapid deflation when it's needed most, and a low-pressure indicator light gives an easy visual check that the system is working correctly. Available in three configurations, including a foam-base version that maintains support even during a power loss.

Choose Your Size

SKU 10441 36" x 80" | 8" Air Cell Height | 350 lb Capacity
SKU 10448 36" x 84" | 8" Air Cell Height | 400 lb Capacity
SKU 10449 36" x 80" | 5" Air Cell Height + 3" Foam Base | 400 lb Capacity

Key Features

  • Alternating pressure mattress replacement system combining low air loss and alternating pressure therapy
  • 20 8-inch air cells with adjustable air flow dial and weight indicators for customized pressure levels
  • CPR valve allows for rapid deflation
  • 2 modes: alternating cycle and static
  • Built-in pillow function for additional patient stability and comfort
  • Equipped with low-pressure indicator light
  • Nylon and PU cover construction
  • Latex-free construction
  • 1-Year Limited Warranty

The foam-base version (SKU 10449) is worth a closer look if power reliability is a concern. Its 3" foam base sits underneath the air cells, so if the pump loses power or the air cells deflate, there's still a supportive foam layer underneath rather than nothing at all. The standard versions (10441, 10448) rely fully on the air cells for support, which makes them slightly lighter and typically less expensive, but they don't offer that same fallback support layer. Length is otherwise the simpler decision — match SKU 10441 or 10449 to an 80" bed frame, or 10448 to an 84" frame.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I order?
SKU 10441 and 10449 are both 80" long, while SKU 10448 is 84" long. SKU 10449 adds a 3" foam base for extra support during power loss. Match the length to your bed frame and weight capacity to the patient's needs.

How do the two modes work?
Alternating cycle mode cycles pressure between air cells for ongoing redistribution. Static mode inflates all cells evenly and is recommended during patient transfers or repositioning to reduce injury risk.

What happens if the power goes out?
On the foam-base version (SKU 10449), the foam layer underneath continues to provide support even if the air cells lose pressure. The standard versions rely on the air cells alone for support.

Do I need a specific bed frame for this mattress?
This is a replacement mattress designed to sit directly on a compatible bed frame. Confirm your frame's dimensions match the mattress size you're ordering before purchase.
