The ERGO SPXL Shower Chair combines self-propelling mobility with extra support for larger users. It features the innovative ERGO seating system with a 5° forward tilt to promote a natural, more stable sitting position for both showering and toileting. The pressure-mapped seat shape reduces strain on sensitive areas, while optional overlays provide added comfort, solid seating, or commode adjustments.

The XL model includes a wider backrest and increased weight capacity of up to 400 lbs. Large 24" rear wheels with quick-release axles and hand brakes allow for independent mobility. For versatility, the rear wheels can be removed so the chair can also be rolled on its 5" casters. Transfer supports at the front of the seat assist with repositioning for safe, comfortable use.

Built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the ERGO SPXL is strong, durable, and easy to maintain. Its updated caster design minimizes dirt buildup, and the collection pan rail keeps the pan closer to reduce splashing. The included pan has interior volume markings and a built-in hook to hold the lid when not in use.

The chair is fully adjustable for individual fit. Seat height adjusts from 18.5"–23.4", armrests can be set at three heights, and footrests adjust in both height and angle with supportive heel loops. The coated-nylon upholstery is machine washable and has straps that adjust seat depth and firmness. For portability, the chair disassembles quickly for storage or transport.

The ERGO SPXL is also compatible with a wide selection of ERGO and Ocean accessories, including overlays, positioning supports, calf supports, belts, and comfort back upholstery.
