One important note on power: out of the box, the FR LIFT draws power directly from a FreeRider Luggie scooter's onboard battery. If you're using it with a different scooter or power chair brand, or want to run it independently of your scooter's battery, you'll need the separately sold FR LIFT Off-Board Power Accessory Bundle, which adds a standalone battery, charging cable, and wiring adapter.
