Overview
The Hollister New Image CeraPlus Soft Convex is an extended-wear skin barrier for a two-piece pouching system. Its gentle soft-convex profile gives light pressure around the stoma and conforms to creases and uneven skin — a good fit for a flush or retracted stoma — while the CeraPlus barrier is infused with ceramide (Remois technology) to help protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier and reduce moisture loss.
The opening is cut-to-fit up to 1-1/2″, so you trim it to match your stoma. An integrated floating flange lets you slip a finger underneath to click the pouch on without pressing down on the abdomen, and the porous tape border plus tapered, ultra-thin edge keep it secure and low-profile. The 57mm red coupling pairs with matching New Image pouches.
