These Med-Mizer slings come in four families to cover the common transfer needs — everyday moves, longer or more comfortable transfers, toileting, and walking support — each available in a full range of sizes from small through extra-extra-large.

Sling Styles
- General-Purpose Mesh Highback Sling — a breathable, quick-drying mesh sling with high back support for everyday full-body transfers. Mesh drains well, which makes it a practical all-rounder.
- Universal Padded Highback Sling — the same high-back full-body support with added padding for a softer, more comfortable lift during longer or more frequent transfers.
- Padded Hygiene Sling with Velcro Clip — an open-seat design for toileting and personal-care access, padded for comfort, with a Velcro clip for secure positioning.
- Ambulation Sling — a walking-support sling that helps someone stay upright and steady while taking assisted steps, rather than being fully suspended.

Equipment Specialist Insight: Two decisions here, and the first is the one people skip at their peril — the sling has to match the lift. A sling attaches to the spreader bar by loops or clips, and the styles have to be compatible, so before anything else confirm the sling suits your particular lift and bar. On style: the mesh highback is the sensible everyday choice and dries fast, which matters if it's used around bathing; the padded highback trades a little breathability for comfort on longer or more frequent lifts; the hygiene sling has the open seat you need for toileting; and the ambulation sling is different in kind — it supports someone staying on their feet and stepping, not being fully lifted, so it's only right if the person is weight-bearing. On size, don't size up "to be safe" — a sling that's too big lets the person slide, while the correct size holds securely; follow the manufacturer's fitting guidance and weigh the person against the sling's rating.
