MJM Adjustable Height Rolling Shower Chair
Model: MJM International 118-3TW-ADJ
A Rolling Shower Chair That Adjusts to the User
The MJM 118-3TW-ADJ Rolling Shower Chair adjusts in height, so it can be set to fit the user instead of the other way around. The seat raises from 20" to 25" in six 1-inch settings, which makes it easier for taller users to sit down and stand up and lets caregivers set a more comfortable working height. The elongated open-front seat adds comfort and makes personal hygiene easier during bathing.
A push/pull rear handle and 3" deluxe twin casters let a caregiver roll the chair smoothly into and out of the shower. Anti-slip handgrips add confidence when sitting or standing, and the removable mesh back dries quickly between uses. The heavy-duty frame is reinforced at all stress points and supports up to 250 lbs.

Equipment Specialist Insight: Most rolling shower chairs come at one fixed height, which can leave taller users with their knees above their hips and make standing up harder. The 118-3TW-ADJ solves that with 5 inches of adjustment, and the rising under-seat clearance means it can roll over comfort-height or raised toilets that a fixed-height chair might not clear. The trade-off is weight capacity: this adjustable model is rated for 250 lbs, compared with 300 lbs on MJM's fixed-height 118 models. If the user is near or over 250 lbs, a fixed-height model is the safer choice.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right seat height?
The seat adjusts from 20" to 25" in 1-inch steps. A good starting point is a height where the user's feet rest flat on the floor with knees bent at about a right angle. A physical or occupational therapist can help fine-tune the setting.
Can it roll over a toilet?
Under-seat clearance ranges from 17.25" to 22.25" depending on the height setting, which gives you room to clear many standard and comfort-height toilets. Measure your toilet's height, including the seat, before ordering.
What is the weight capacity?
This adjustable model supports up to 250 lbs. Never exceed the manufacturer's stated weight capacity.
Will it fit in my bathroom and shower?
The chair is 22.5" wide and 25.25" deep, and stands 40.5" to 45.5" tall depending on the setting. Measure your doorway and shower entry to be sure it can roll through. Rolling shower chairs work best with roll-in or low-threshold showers.
