The P Pod™ Postural Support System combines a specially molded foam liner with a soft, bean bag–style base, providing midline alignment of the trunk, pelvis, and lower extremities in a warm, engaging seat rather than a clinical-looking chair. The bean bag base creates a heightened, lightweight seat that keeps the user more eye-to-eye with family and friends, and the simple, lightweight design is easy for parents and caregivers to use and clean.
Three components work together: the Positioning Pod (a molded foam liner providing clinically appropriate postural support), the Bolster Support for upright positioning, and the bean bag base itself, which allows the seat's angle to adjust based on how the Pod is positioned. A pelvic belt keeps the user in the desired position, and a flip-up headrest provides additional head support. Now available in wipe-clean Dartex fabric in addition to the original machine-washable velour options.
