The Silvalea Universal Sling is a loop-style mesh sling for patient lifts, used for general transfers. It provides full-body support for the back and thighs but has no head support; for users who need head support, Silvalea offers a version with an arched head support (M921500). Divided, padded leg sections with a strap that joins them cradle the thighs, and a small hygiene opening is built into the seat.
The sling is made from 100% polyester open-weave mesh, which drains and dries quickly, making it suitable for bathing and hygiene transfers. Colour-coded loop straps help caregivers attach the sling evenly to the carry bar. Every size is rated for a safe working load of 600 lbs (272 kg), and it comes in six sizes from Extra Small to XXL. It washes at up to 95°C.
