A Padded Harness Sling for Standing and Walking Practice on a Patient Lift
The Silvalea Walking Sling is a harness-style sling that lets a ceiling or mobile lift steady a user while they stand and walk with a caregiver. Instead of lifting the user off their feet like a full-body sling, it wraps around the torso and between the legs and connects to the lift’s carry bar, so the lift can take some of the load and help keep the user upright while they practice walking. It is applied with the user seated, and it is intended for users who can bear some weight on their legs.
The harness is padded, with padded rolls under the arms, adjustable slider tapes and adjustable groin straps with removable comfort covers. Two clunk-click chest buckles close the front, and four shoulder straps attach by loops to a loop-type carry bar. It is made of 100% polyester, rated for a safe working load of 600 lbs (272 kg) and washable at up to 95°C.
