A 500 lb Powered Full-Body Floor Lift With a 6-Point Spreader Bar and Swap-Out Battery
The Span America F500P is a powered mobile floor lift for full-body transfers, rated to 500 lbs. An electric actuator raises and lowers the boom from a two-button hand pendant with an LED indicator, and a second set of controls on the lift itself lets caregivers keep working if the pendant is lost or damaged. A backlit LCD display shows status and battery level during use, and an audible alert warns when the battery is running low. The lift range runs from 25.8 to 69.1 inches, and the lift can raise a person from the floor.
The 6-point spreader bar works with a wider range of sling styles than a standard 2- or 4-point bar. The base legs widen with a leg-opening handle from 24.9 to 42.9 inches and lock in place, and the base stands 4.5 inches high. The quick-release battery can be swapped out, charged in place with the included plug-in charger, or charged on an optional charging cradle. Overload protection alerts the caregiver and stops lifting above the rated capacity, and a manual emergency lowering function lowers the person if power is lost. The lift weighs 99 lbs and assembles with the tools provided. Slings are sold separately.
