A 600 lb Powered Bariatric Floor Lift With a 6-Point Spreader Bar and Foot-Pedal Base
The Span America F600B is a powered full-body floor lift rated to 600 lbs, sized for bariatric users but also usable for lighter users. An electric actuator raises and lowers the boom from a two-button hand pendant with an LED indicator, and a second set of up and down buttons on the control unit lets caregivers keep working if the pendant is lost or damaged. A backlit LCD shows battery level, and an audible alert warns when the battery is low. The lift range runs from 21.5 to 68.6 inches at the spreader bar, and the lift can raise a person from the floor.
The 6-point spreader bar accepts loop slings in 4, 6 or 8-strap patterns. A foot pedal opens the base from 26.4 inches closed to 39.3 inches between the legs, the base stands 4.7 inches high, and dual front casters and foot-locking rear casters help with steering and holding position. The 24 V, 5 Ah quick-release battery charges in place with the included plug-in charger or on an optional charging cradle. A red emergency-stop button, manual emergency lowering and overload protection, which alerts the caregiver and stops lifting above capacity, round out the safety features. The lift weighs 123 lbs and assembles with the tools provided. Slings are sold separately, and a digital scale is available as an option.
