The Span America Geo-Matt Contour is a non-powered, 3-inch wheelchair seat cushion that pairs a shaped foam base with a segmented top. The firm contoured base is built to help place the pelvis and thighs: a pelvic “bucket” seats the hips toward the back, contoured leg channels guide the thighs, and a center abductor between the knees helps keep the legs apart. Above the base, Span America’s Geo-Matt top is cut into individual foam segments that move independently, so the surface adapts to the user and reduces shear as they shift.
The cover has an anti-slip top surface and a non-skid bottom that helps keep the cushion in place on the wheelchair seat. A sewn sleeve accepts Span America’s optional Sling-Fill base (2SFB, sold separately) for added stability on a fabric sling seat. With no pump or air to manage, the Geo-Matt Contour comes in four sizes from 16 to 20 inches wide, each supporting up to 250 lbs.
