The Span America Risk Manager is a 24-inch wide, 70-inch long bedside floor mat made from a 1-inch elastomeric gel compound. It lies flat on the floor beside the bed, giving a cushioned surface underfoot. A low-profile beveled edge makes the transition onto the mat smoother for wheelchairs and other wheeled equipment, and the textured top surface is non-slip.
The underside is slide resistant to help the mat stay where it is placed. At about 6 lbs, the mat rolls up for moving and storage. It wipes clean with most standard cleaning agents, resists stains, oil and fluids, and is latex-free, lead-free and non-toxic. It meets the Cal TB 117 fire retardancy standard.
