A Rollator With an Adjustable Resistance Knob to Set How Freely It Rolls
The VOCIC Z63 Adjustable Speed Rollator Walker adds one feature most rollators don’t have: a resistance knob that changes how easily the wheels roll. Turn it up and the rollator rolls more slowly and with more resistance, so it doesn’t get ahead of the user; turn it down for a freer roll. That lets the user or caregiver tune the rollator to the user’s walking pace and to different surfaces. The Z63 is fully manual, with no motor or battery.
The aluminum alloy frame supports up to 300 lbs and weighs 23.4 lbs. The handles adjust to five heights from 32.5 to 37.4 inches. An arc-shaped seat cushion and wide padded backrest make it comfortable for resting, and an included storage bag carries personal items. The 5.5-inch puncture-proof wheels combine PU and rubber and swivel 360°, and the frame folds for storage and transport. Choose Beige or Black.

Equipment Specialist Insight: A standard rollator rolls as freely as the user pushes it, which can be a problem for someone who walks slowly or tends to push the frame ahead of their feet. The Z63’s resistance knob addresses that by adding drag to the wheels. Start with more resistance and reduce it gradually until the rollator moves at a comfortable pace without having to be held back. The resistance knob is not a substitute for the brakes: always lock the hand brakes before sitting down. Set the handles so the grips line up with the crease of the user’s wrist when standing upright.
