Wireless Caregiver Alert Starter Kit + Pad
Wireless Caregiver Alert Starter Kit — Pager, Motion Sensor, Sensor Pad & Transmitter
Everything a New Caregiver Needs to Get Monitoring Running Today
The Wireless Caregiver Alert Starter Kit bundles a complete, ready-to-use setup covering the two situations most caregivers need to know about first: someone moving around a room, and someone getting up from a bed or chair. It's built around the Wireless Caregiver Pager — the hub of a customizable wireless monitoring system used in homes, nursing facilities, and health care settings — paired with a Motion Sensor for general room awareness and a complete Sensor Pad Transmitter setup, including the pressure-sensing pad itself, for direct bed or chair exit alerts.
Each monitoring component pairs independently with the pager and can be set to its own distinct alert tone, so a caregiver instantly knows which sensor triggered without looking. The pager offers a choice of 18 melody or alarm sounds, three alert modes (sound only, sound and vibrate, or vibrate only), and a belt clip for hands-free carrying with up to 500 ft of monitoring range in open areas. This kit covers the essentials; up to two more monitoring components (Toilet Pull Cord Alert or Fall Alarm Monitor) can be added to the same pager later as needs grow.

Key Features
- One Pager, Multiple Sensors: The pager supports up to four monitoring components total — this kit's two leave room to add more later.
- Distinct Alert Tones: Choose from 18 melody or alarm sounds so each sensor is instantly identifiable.
- Three Alert Modes: Sound only, sound and vibrate, or vibrate only.
- 500 ft Open-Area Range: Walls and interference will reduce real-world distance.
- Belt Clip Pager: Hands-free, constant carrying for on-the-go monitoring.
- General & Direct Monitoring Together: Motion sensor covers room awareness; the sensor pad and transmitter cover bed or chair exit alerts.
- Complete, Ready-to-Use Pad Setup: Includes the physical sensing pad, not just the transmitter — nothing extra to buy before it works.
- Batteries & Mounting Hardware Included in every component.
- One-Year Warranty.
Equipment Specialist Insight: This pairing works because the two sensors answer different questions. The motion sensor tells you someone is up and moving in a room — useful for a doorway, hallway, or living space where general awareness matters. The sensor pad transmitter tells you the moment someone leaves a specific bed, chair, or marked floor area — the more direct, targeted alert for a bedside or favorite chair. Together they cover most day-one caregiving needs without over-committing to sensors you haven't confirmed you need yet. If bathroom safety or a wearable fall alert becomes a priority once you're using the system, the Toilet Pull Cord Alert and Fall Alarm Monitor both pair with the same pager — no need to replace anything, just add the component.

Q: Can I add more sensors later?
A: Yes — the pager supports up to four monitoring components total, and this kit uses two of those four slots. You can add a Toilet Pull Cord Alert or a Fall Alarm Monitor at any time; each new component pairs directly with your existing pager, so nothing in this kit needs to be replaced.
Q: Do I need a stationary receiver too?
A: Not necessarily — the pager itself is a wearable receiver with a belt clip, sufficient for one caregiver actively carrying it. A Wireless Caregiver Stationary Receiver is a separate, optional component for wall-mounting or placing centrally in a home or small facility if you'd rather monitor from a fixed location instead of, or in addition to, the pager.
Q: How do the two sensors work differently?
A: The motion sensor detects movement in a room generally — place it to cover a doorway, hallway, or open living space. The sensor pad, connected to its transmitter, is placed directly on a bed or chair seat and alerts specifically when weight is removed from that surface, giving a more precise, location-specific signal than general motion detection.
Q: Bed pad or chair pad — can I switch later, or get both?
A: The included transmitter works with either pad, so you can start with one and purchase the other pad separately if your needs expand to both a bed and a chair. Replacement pads and shorter-warranty options are also available separately if the included pad ever needs replacing.
