Overview

The Rhythm Healthcare TOC3 closes the gap between a home concentrator and a portable one. It delivers true continuous flow up to 3 LPM — the kind of steady delivery normally reserved for large home units, and what makes it suitable for overnight use and higher-demand needs — plus 10 pulse-dose settings for conserving battery and moving through the day. Both delivery modes live in one machine rated for 24/7 use, so a single unit covers resting, sleeping, walking, and traveling.

It's built to actually go places. At 17.2 pounds with the battery it's roughly half the weight of a traditional home unit, and it ships complete with a carry bag and a rugged transport cart with oversized wheels that roll easily over curbs and uneven ground. A universal 100–240V power supply keeps it running in most countries, AC and DC (car) cords are both included, and the battery engages automatically when unplugged — up to 6.6 hours on pulse setting 1, with spare batteries swapping in seconds. It's FAA-approved for commercial flights, warms up in 5 minutes, and reads out on a bright 2.8" color LCD with simple controls.

Key Features

  • Dual delivery in one unit — continuous flow up to 3 LPM plus 10 pulse-dose settings.
  • True 3 LPM continuous flow supports overnight use and higher-demand needs.
  • Rated for up to 24/7 use — a single unit covers home, travel, and sleep.
  • Lightweight at 17.2 lbs with the battery — about half a traditional home unit.
  • Carry bag and rugged transport cart with oversized wheels included.
  • Up to 6.6 hours of battery on pulse setting 1; spare batteries swap in seconds.
  • Universal 100–240V power supply plus AC and DC (car) cords — ready for most countries.
  • FAA-approved for use on commercial flights.
  • Bright 2.8" color LCD with simple, easy-to-read controls.
  • Fast 5-minute warm-up; 87%–96% oxygen concentration.
  • Backed by a 3-year device warranty (2-year sieve bed, 1-year battery).

The TOC3's real distinction is that it does something most portables can't: genuine continuous flow up to 3 LPM. Most travel-sized units are pulse-only, which is why they're often not an option for overnight use — the TOC3 gives you both, so one machine covers sleeping at home and a flight the next morning, instead of owning a stationary unit plus a portable. That's the "hospital-to-home" idea behind it. The tradeoff is honest: at 17.2 lbs it's heavier than a wearable pulse-only unit like the Rhythm P2, and continuous flow drains the battery faster (1.2 hours at 3 LPM versus 6.6 hours on pulse setting 1) — so plan on a spare battery if you'll run continuous flow away from an outlet. The included cart with oversized wheels does the carrying, and the universal power supply plus FAA approval make international travel realistic. If you only need pulse dose, a lighter unit is the better fit; if you need continuous flow and portability in one, this is the one that does it.

Can I use it overnight?

Yes — that's the point of the continuous flow. Because the TOC3 delivers a steady flow up to 3 LPM rather than pulse only, it's suited to nighttime use, and it's rated for up to 24/7 operation. Follow your provider's guidance on your prescribed setting.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 6.6 hours on pulse setting 1, decreasing as the setting rises (about 1.8 hours at setting 10). In continuous flow it runs about 3.1 hours at 1.0 LPM and 1.2 hours at 3.0 LPM. A full charge takes about 4.5 hours, spare batteries swap in seconds, and it can run and recharge on AC or DC (car) power.

Can I fly with it, and what's in the box?

Yes — it's FAA-approved for commercial flights, and the universal 100–240V supply works in most countries. Every unit ships complete: concentrator, battery, AC and DC power supplies, nasal cannulas, pre-installed inlet filters, carry bag, transport cart, and the user manual.
